About the role#
Nasdaq is looking for a Technical Analyst Student to join the Verafin team for the Winter 2027 term. This full-time position is based in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. You will gain hands-on experience by working on projects alongside our teams, supported by mentorship and professional development sessions.
What you'll do#
- Configure custom import code and validate data to support customer onboarding.
- Work directly with customers to receive data files and resolve validation issues.
- Review and update technical documentation.
- Collaborate with teammates across different areas of the business.
- Develop your technical and professional skills through training and hands-on work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a technical college program, such as Computer Science.
- Functional knowledge of JSON, SQL, or XML.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Clear communication skills and an eagerness to learn and work as part of a team.
- Experience with Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) is preferred.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming or command line is preferred.
- You must include a copy of your most recent transcript with your application.
