About the role#
NASCO offers a paid, remote internship for students and recent graduates interested in healthcare technology. You will work on projects while receiving mentorship from experienced team members. What you'll do#
- Write basic code, scripts, queries, or configuration updates under supervision.
- Assist with development, testing, and documentation tasks.
- Participate in team meetings, code reviews, demos, and feedback sessions.
- Conduct research and analysis to support project goals.
- Contribute ideas and learn to troubleshoot software issues using established practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related degree program.
- Status as a senior or expected graduation within one year of the internship.
- Legal authority to work in the US.
- Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, COBOL, or SQL.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Basic understanding of software development concepts from coursework, projects, or certifications.
