About the role#
The Community Partner Liaison creates and maintains partnerships with local businesses and community organizations. You will generate internship and community service opportunities for clients. This role involves proactive outreach and collaboration with internal teams to facilitate client referrals and ensure successful placements.
What you'll do#
- Build partnerships through cold calls, field work, and attending events.
- Meet monthly goals for client referrals and new partnership development.
- Formalize partnerships by executing Memoranda of Understanding.
- Serve as the primary contact for HRA programs and internship sites.
- Promote opportunities to clients during workshops and individual screenings.
- Assist clients with enrollment processes and gather feedback.
- Prepare candidates for final enrollment into assignments.
- Maintain and update the client resource guide and office bulletin boards monthly.
- Track data and manage documentation using computer-based programs.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience, or an Associate's degree with 5 years of experience, or a high school diploma with 7 years of experience.
- 3 years of experience working with public assistance populations or in social services.
- Background in employment services, customer service, or relationship management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer software literacy.
- Ability to work a flexible weekday schedule and travel to various locations.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish or another common language are a plus.
