Student Intern (Interiors)

About the role#

NAC is seeking a Student Intern for the Summer 2026 term to join the interiors team in Columbus, Ohio. This is a full-time, paid position for a student currently pursuing a degree in Architecture. You will work under the supervision of design professionals to develop technical solutions and support project delivery.

What you'll do#

• Contribute to conceptual design tasks.
• Assist in the production of construction and permit documents.
• Research building codes and permit requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams during Live Design meetings.
• Manage high-level deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
• Perform field verification of existing conditions.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, or Master of Architecture program.
• Proficiency in 3D model creation and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Rhino is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Knowledge of industry terminology and standard construction methods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret architectural drawings.
