About the role#
The Student Intern (Interiors) position supports the design and technical development of architectural projects under the guidance of design professionals. This is a full-time, paid summer internship for students currently pursuing a degree in architecture.
What you'll do#
- Perform conceptual design tasks and assist in producing high-level deliverables across multiple projects.
- Create construction and permit documents.
- Research building codes and permit requirements.
- Conduct field verification of existing conditions.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and participate in project meetings.
- Maintain billing efficiency while ensuring high quality in all assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, or Master of Architecture program.
- Proficiency in 3D model creation and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD is preferred, as is knowledge of Sketchup, Rhino, Lumion, Enscape, or V-Ray.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Familiarity with industry terminology, architectural drawings, and standard construction methods.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and demonstrate attention to detail.
