About the role#
LGA Partners is seeking an Interior Design Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, part-time internship based on-site in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You will work alongside staff on various projects across sectors including aviation, healthcare, education, housing, retail, and workplace.
What you'll do#
- Assist designers with the layout of interior spaces and finish selections.
- Prepare finish boards for project presentations.
- Coordinate and schedule vendor product updates and presentations.
- Maintain and update the interiors library.
- Assist with product sample ordering and receiving.
- Participate in team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year Bachelor of Interior Architecture or Interior Design program.
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate studies.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, and Sketch-up.
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks.
