About the role#
This is a part-time, year-round internship within the Administration Division of the Airports Department for the City of Oklahoma City. The role serves as a training opportunity for students interested in public administration and the operations of city departments. You will provide administrative, technical, and research support to help the department manage its daily functions.
What you'll do#
- Perform basic account reconciliations, including payroll tasks.
- Support the department with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Complete a variety of administrative and project-related assignments.
- Assist with financial tasks specific to the department or division.
What you'll need#
- At least one year of completed college-level coursework in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and basic spreadsheet creation.
- A working knowledge of fundamental account reconciliation practices.
Location & details#
- Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- Schedule: Part-time, up to 29 hours per week.
- Modality: This position is on-site.
- Compensation: $17.50 to $22.50 per hour.
- Requirements: You must be at least 18 years old. If assigned to the Airports Department, you must pass a thorough TSA background check including fingerprinting.
