About the role#
The 2027 Summer Analyst Program in Risk Management is a 10-week internship designed to provide rising seniors with hands-on experience in a global financial institution. You will work alongside professionals to learn how the bank identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks. This program offers exposure to various risk disciplines, including Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk, and Quantitative Risk Control. You will be paired with a mentor who provides professional development guidance throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the identification, assessment, management, reporting, and mitigation of risks.
- Interact with Americas Risk Management and various Lines of Business to rotate through risk discipline activities.
- Work on cross-functional projects to understand how different risk frameworks intersect.
- Attend learning sessions led by Americas Risk Management professionals.
- Implement components of the MUFG Risk Framework to monitor and control risk.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and Spring 2028.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.

- Location: Tampa, Florida.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027).
- Work Modality: Hybrid (four days in office, one day remote).
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
