About the role#
MSI Express offers a 10-week summer internship for students interested in supply chain operations. You will work on real business challenges, partner with company leaders, and turn ideas into action. The experience concludes with a presentation of your results and recommendations to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Support demand planning, inventory analysis, and material flow activities.
- Assist with purchase order tracking, supplier communication, and inventory replenishment.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics to improve efficiency and service levels.
- Gain visibility into transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Support projects focused on inventory accuracy, service improvements, and cost optimization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or an Engineering program.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Must follow all safety requirements and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, including standing for extended periods and moving around production equipment.

- Location: Batavia, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10 weeks).
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $19.00 per hour.
- Work Modality: On-site.
