About the role#
As a Student Outreach Specialist, you will represent Mountainland Technical College and connect prospective students, schools, and community partners with our programs. You will work as part of the Admissions team to guide students through the admissions process and help them explore their educational options.
What you'll do#
- Lead campus tours and present information regarding our programs and admissions requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with school counselors, educators, and community partners.
- Travel to various MTECH campuses, local schools, and community locations.
- Plan and support outreach events, including career fairs and information sessions.
- Collaborate with Admissions Advisors to assist prospective students with their next steps.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and feedback to support team goals.
- Stay current on all program offerings and registration information.
What you'll need#
- Associate Degree in technical sales, business marketing, communications, or a related field. We will consider equivalent experience.
- At least one year of experience in outreach, education, student support, customer service, sales, or community engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Public speaking skills and the ability to engage large groups.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain professionalism.
- Spanish-speaking skills are preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Lehi, Utah.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Status: Full-time, paid position.
- Note: Reliable transportation and availability for evening outreach activities are required.
