About the role#
As a Presales Systems Engineer Intern, you will join our engineering team to design communication solutions for our customers. You will work alongside sales, service, and technical support staff to translate customer needs into functional system designs. This role focuses on mission-critical technologies, including voice and data networks, mobile broadband, and intelligence software.
What you'll do#
- Identify customer requirements and develop technology strategies.
- Design end-to-end system architectures.
- Create proposals for technical projects.
- Deliver internal and external technical presentations.
- Configure and test equipment and software for solution demonstrations.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- An expected graduation date during or after December 2027.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
- General knowledge of IT network and computer architecture.
- General knowledge of wireless communications fundamentals and voice/data architectures.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A positive, resourceful attitude.

- Location: Linthicum, Maryland.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday through Thursday, remote Monday and Friday).
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Compensation: Paid internship.
- Note: Sponsorship for work permits is not available.
