About the role#
This is an unpaid Level I fieldwork position for students currently enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy program. You will work under the supervision of an occupational therapist or program coordinator to gain clinical experience and build entry level competency.
What you'll do#
- Plan, implement, and lead OT groups within the PRP and the community.
- Conduct occupational therapy screenings and assessments, and assist with their interpretation.
- Document OT groups, 1:1 sessions, and integrated health reports.
- Collaborate with clients, staff, and other students to plan interventions and orient clients to the role of occupational therapy.
- Complete academic assignments related to your fieldwork.
- Manage your time, work areas, and costs effectively.
- Maintain safe and ethical services while following agency policies and the OT code of ethics.
- Communicate your progress, plans, and needs to your supervisor.
- Build your clinical and professional skills through regular collaboration with your supervisor.

- Current enrollment in an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Affiliation with Sheppard Pratt or Mosaic Community Services.

- This role is located in Rosedale, Maryland.
- This is an on-site, full-time, unpaid internship with rolling start dates.
