About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience working on-site with project teams. You will support electrical scopes for Power, Solar, Energy Storage, or Data Center projects. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the electrical scope for major construction projects.
- Help determine the layout of collection systems.
- Manage shop drawings, submittals, and RFI processes.
- Support the preparation and evaluation of bid packages.
- Assist with purchase orders and subcontractor agreements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate, four-year degree program for Electrical Engineering.
- Willingness to be mobile or relocate as needed.
- A current driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Comfort working in environments with dirt, heat, noise, dust, and trailer offices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
