About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in the construction industry during the summer of 2027. You will work on-site alongside project teams, subcontractors, and partners to support electrical scope tasks. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the electrical scope for Power, Solar, Energy Storage, or Data Center projects.
- Determine the layout of collection systems while considering project constraints.
- Manage shop drawings, submittals, and the request for information (RFI) processes.
- Support the preparation of purchase orders and subcontractor agreements.
- Use construction software to assist with project processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year undergraduate degree program in Electrical Engineering.
- Previous internship experience in a related field.
- Willingness to be mobile or relocate for the assignment.
- A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Comfort working in environments with exposure to dirt, heat, noise, dust, and trailer offices.
