About the role#
Mortenson is seeking a Marketing Intern to join our team in Tempe for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work alongside our marketing and business development professionals to support internal communications, proposal preparation, and project research.
What you'll do#
- Gather and verify project and team member information for internal communications and proposals.
- Create and organize graphics and photography, including logos and layouts, using graphic design software.
- Collaborate with local and corporate marketing teams to develop concepts and execute designs.
- Research external partner organizations to support business development efforts.
- Maintain brand consistency across all digital channels.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate, four-year degree program in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, or Business.
- Thorough prior experience with Adobe InDesign.
- A basic understanding of construction and general business practices.
- Knowledge of aesthetics, design principles, and digital standards.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to apply brand guidelines.
- A demonstrated interest in marketing and graphic design.
