About the role#
As a Leasing Intern, you will help maintain building occupancy and support tenant relations. You will manage the rental process for available suites while ensuring the property meets our standards for presentation and maintenance.
What you'll do#
- Inspect vacant suites and coordinate repairs or decorating needs with the Manager.
- Screen applicants, conduct credit and employment checks, and guide prospective tenants through the application process.
- Show suites, collect deposits, and prepare move-in packages for new tenants.
- Monitor advertising accuracy and suggest marketing strategies to the Manager.
- Survey local competition and arrange model suite displays to assist with leasing efforts.
- Greet guests, maintain a clean office, and ensure the reception area is welcoming.
- Manage documentation by entering guest cards into the Yardi dashboard, recording rental traffic, and submitting weekly reports.
- Handle general administrative tasks such as mail distribution, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma. Current students or graduates in Marketing, Business Administration, or Real Estate are encouraged to apply.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to close rental agreements.
- Previous experience with Yardi is a plus.

- This is an on-site position based in Edmonton, Alberta.
- The role is full-time and paid.
- This is a rolling term internship.
