About the role#
Morguard is seeking an Application Support Developer for a summer internship in 2025. This role is open to students currently enrolled in their 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate or graduate studies in computer science, computer engineering, or related information technology fields. Candidates must be returning to their studies following the internship term or represent a local college or university.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot data transfer issues and internal integration platforms using XML, SQL, ETL, and FTP/SFTP.
- Use, create, and manage APIs to integrate data sources and build micro apps with backend workflows.
- Design and develop custom applications using technologies including HTML, XHTML, CSS, Java, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
- Manage Generic API creation and testing.
- Assist with process analysis, design, implementation, and user acceptance testing for ERP and integration offerings.
- Develop, implement, customize, and deploy .NET solutions.
What you'll need#
- Understanding of enterprise-class application systems and infrastructure.
- Demonstrated knowledge of transactional SQL.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft technology stack, including Excel, CSV files, and Access.
- Experience with low code automation tools.
- Proficiency in M365, Power Apps, Power Platform, and Dataverse is considered an asset.
