2025 Summer Internship- Application Support Developer

About the role#

Morguard is seeking an Application Support Developer for a Summer 2025 internship. This full-time, paid position is based on-site in Mississauga, Ontario. Candidates must be currently enrolled in an Information Technology or related field, specifically as a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate or graduate student, or represent a local college or university.

What you'll do#

• Troubleshoot data transfer and internal integration platform issues using XML, SQL, ETL, and FTP/SFTP.
• Build and manage APIs to integrate data sources and develop backend micro-app workflows.
• Create and manage Generic APIs and conduct API testing.
• Apply knowledge of process analysis, design, and implementation, as well as business and technical requirements, to ERP and integration offerings.
• Utilize M365, Power Apps, Power Platform, and Dataverse (considered an asset).

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an Information Technology or related degree program.
• Understanding of enterprise-class application systems and infrastructure.
• Experience developing, implementing, customizing, and deploying .NET solutions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of transactional SQL.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft technology stack, including MS Excel, CSV files, and Access.
• Experience designing and developing custom applications using HTML, XHTML, CSS, Java, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
