About the role#
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the supply chain field. You will spend your summer working on a real business challenge within your group. This involves exchanging ideas with subject matter experts to develop solutions. You will present your accomplishments at the end of the program during the Intern Expo. The University Relations team also hosts events such as executive lunch and learns, plant tours, and socials.
What you'll do#
- Work on a specific business project assigned by your team.
- Gain practical experience in procurement and purchasing.
- Assist with transportation, distribution, and logistics tasks.
- Present your project results at the Intern Expo.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor or Master degree program.
- Completion of at least your freshman year of courses.
- A minimum 2.7 GPA.
- A major in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or a similar field.
- Strong Excel skills are preferred.
- Unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
