About the role#
As a Quality Engineer Intern, you will join the MKS Global Supply Chain team. You will partner with Supplier Quality Engineers to improve processes and data analytics related to supplier quality performance. You will report to the Director of Supplier Performance or their delegate.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Supplier Quality Engineering team to build efficient reporting and processes for supplier quality activities.
- Assist in driving improvements with specific suppliers.
- Help the Supplier Quality and Purchasing teams manage non-conformities and work toward resolution.
- Track and publish key supplier quality metrics to improve visibility.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program for Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- An expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027.
- Project management skills.
- Practical experience with data analytic software like Power BI or Spotfire.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is a plus.
- Previous exposure to manufacturing environments or Quality Management tools is preferred.
- Candidates must be US persons.
