About the role#
MKS Inc. is seeking a BI/Data Analytics IT Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Andover, Massachusetts. You will report to the Director of IT Business Technology and work within a functional team to perform data analysis and support business decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Identify trends and generate insights by conducting routine analyses of various data systems.
- Aggregate data from multiple sources to construct streamlined data pipelines.
- Build high-level dashboards to track the progress of key business initiatives.
- Communicate findings to stakeholders to support data-driven decisions.
- Integrate data from various systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program such as Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Competency in data visualization software, specifically Tableau or PowerBI.
- Experience with modelling using Excel, Python, or other data platforms.
- Ability to present findings through facilitation and tools like PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience building economic and data models.
