    About the role#

    The Enterprise Collaboration, AI, and Web Services (ECAWS) team provides web and collaboration tools to support the technical mission and daily operations of the Laboratory. This co-op role involves working alongside developers to design and build web interfaces and APIs. You will gain hands-on experience with enterprise applications and standards-driven development practices.

    What you'll do#

    • Manage content management systems, specifically Drupal and its modules, including software upgrades and research.
    • Support the Atlassian software suite, including JIRA and Confluence.
    • Assist with updates, testing, issue resolution, and documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
    • Audit systems to identify security vulnerabilities and perform hardening tasks.
    • Update and organize knowledge base articles to ensure consistent team information.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
    • Interest in AI-enabled applications, web development, and application integration.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a structured, mission-driven environment.
    • Understanding of Linux, Apache, and cloud technologies (AWS or Azure).
    • Familiarity with the LAMP stack is desirable.
    • U.S. citizenship is required. You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.

    • Term: Fall 2026 (September through December).
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Employment type: Full-time.
    • Compensation: $25-$32 per hour, based on year in school.
