About the role#
The Artificial Intelligence Technology and Systems group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking undergraduate and graduate students for a summer research internship. You will assist with projects that address national needs using artificial intelligence and machine learning. This role involves working in a team-oriented development environment on real-world problems.
What you'll do#
- Research state-of-the-art algorithms in signal processing, natural language processing, graph analytics, or adversarial AI.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and test technologies for operational use.
- Apply machine learning methods to address challenging technical requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in a high-level programming language such as Python or R.
- Experience with data analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Knowledge of natural language processing, computer vision, or adversarial machine learning.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
