About the role#
Mister "P" Express, Inc is seeking a CDL-Student Training Instructor to join the Parnell School. This is a full-time, on-site, paid position based in Indiana. The role involves training students on safe operation procedures and maintaining accurate progress records to ensure compliance with school and company policies.
What you'll do#
- Deliver daily planning lessons prepared by management.
- Instruct and monitor students on the proper use of company equipment, including trailer operations, backing, and vehicle safety protocols.
- Perform road evaluations and pretests to assess driving skills.
- Observe and evaluate student performance to ensure steady development.
- Provide feedback to management regarding student progress.
- Maintain accurate student records as required by law, school, and company policy.
- Adhere to and model all company and school rules and regulations.
What you'll need#
- A valid Class A CDL held for at least 3 years.
- A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a clean criminal record.
- Working knowledge of DOT and FMSCA requirements.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Background in Logistics or Criminal Justice is preferred.
