About the role#
As a Workplace Experience Co-Op, you will report to the Director of People and serve as the primary contact for workplace operations across Mirakl offices in AMER and APAC. This role offers significant ownership and independence, focusing on office logistics, facilities projects, event planning, and employee engagement. It is designed for students who want hands-on experience in operations and facilities management within a global tech company.
What you'll do#
- Manage front desk operations and ensure a welcoming environment for visitors and employees.
- Oversee workplace resources, documentation, and office guides to keep them accurate and organized.
- Maintain office safety, compliance, and emergency preparedness.
- Support office improvement and build-out projects by coordinating timelines, vendor requirements, and daily facilities needs.
- Plan and execute employee events and engagement programs from start to finish.
- Bring company culture to life through creative projects and employee recognition programs.
- Track workplace budgets, manage spending, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Improve administrative efficiency by building new systems and using AI tools to automate routine tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's program with eligibility for a co-op.
- Ability to work full-time and in-person in Boston for the duration of the Winter 2027 term.
- Previous co-op or internship experience is strongly preferred.
- Professionalism and the ability to handle confidential information and budgets responsibly.
- Confidence when communicating with vendors, contractors, and employees at all levels.
- A proactive, creative, and upbeat approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Curiosity about using AI tools and automation to solve business problems.
