About the role#
As an IT Technician Co-op, you will join our IT team to support the daily operations of our Boston office. You will work directly with our AMER IT Manager to ensure employees have the tools, access, and support needed to complete their work. This is a high-visibility position that impacts teams across the company.
What you'll do#
- Install and configure hardware including Mac, Linux, and Windows laptops and iPhones.
- Create and manage tool access for new hires across Jumpcloud, Jira, Gmail, and Wiki.
- Manage Office 365 and Zoom video licenses.
- Repair and maintain equipment while handling after-sales returns with internal teams and external providers.
- Maintain the operational state of Zoom Rooms and video conferencing setups.
- Manage IT inventory and ensure accurate tracking of all assets.
- Provide daily hands-on support to employees across the office.
- Support network patching and switch or WiFi configuration.
- Participate in the administration of the Jumpcloud directory and definition of GPOs.
- Support the deployment, configuration, and ongoing administration of AI tools.
What you'll need#
- You must be an enrolled Northeastern co-op student eligible for co-op credit.
- Comfort supporting both Mac and PC environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
- Detail-oriented approach with an interest in learning new technologies.
- Ability to work within international teams.
- Professional proficiency in English.
