About the role#
Minnkota Power Cooperative is hiring an Accounting Assistant Intern for the winter 2027 term. You will work within the Financial Services department to support daily finance operations. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
What you'll do#
- Process vendor invoices.
- Verify data to ensure it is complete and accurate.
- Code invoices according to company policies.
- Maintain organized financial records.
- Assist the team with month-end close activities.
- Communicate with internal departments and external vendors as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting, finance, or business administration degree program.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to learn and contribute within a team environment.

- Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota.
- Term: Winter 2027.

- Compensation: Paid position starting at $15.30 per hour, depending on education and experience.
