About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Gaithersburg, Maryland. You will work with the IT, Data, and Business teams to learn how AI technologies function within a manufacturing and life sciences environment. You will gain exposure to the daily operations of an enterprise IT department while supporting various AI-related projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist the IT team with AI-related projects and initiatives.
- Test and evaluate AI tools and applications.
- Help document and organize AI and automation workflows.
- Support data preparation and cleanup for AI models and systems.
- Maintain IT documentation for AI systems and troubleshoot AI-driven tools.
- Support the integration of AI solutions into existing business processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of an associate or bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts, tools, or platforms.
- Ability to use a Windows operating system, Outlook, and basic MS Office products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at a steady pace while handling multiple tasks.

- Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland (On-site).
- Term: Fall 2026 through Winter 2027 (September 2026 to March 2027).
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
