About the role#
This internship is based in the HOLLY HUNT showroom. You will gain direct experience in the to the trade design industry. The role is intended to last between 6 and 9 months.
What you'll do#
- Pull memos for showroom clients and process mail-out requests.
- Manage and receive inventory for all product lines.
- Re-order memos and brochures as needed.
- Assist with showroom events and merchandising textile, wallcovering, and leather displays.
- Support outside sales representatives with their road program.
- Help inside sales representatives during in-showroom appointments.
- Maintain the showroom by tidying the textile floor area and filing memos, finish samples, and tear sheets.
What you'll need#
- Working toward a Bachelor degree in a design-related field or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience in a retail or showroom environment.
- Ability to multitask.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform light lifting between 20lbs and 30lbs.
