    About the role#

    The Applied Sciences Group is seeking a Research Intern to focus on computer vision and deep learning. You will work on enhancing the Windows user experience through technologies such as video capture, augmented reality for teleconferencing, and gesture recognition. This role involves analyzing multimodal sensor data to interpret human and human-object interactions, providing the opportunity to utilize unique data and hardware to advance the state of the art in computer vision.

    What you'll do#

    • Put inquiry and theory into practice while working alongside researchers.
    • Collaborate with fellow interns and researchers to advance research and development goals.
    • Present findings and contribute to the research community.
    • Analyze multimodal sensor data to improve human-computer interaction.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently enrolled in a master's program or Ph.D. in computer vision or a closely related field.
    • Comprehensive background in deep learning, algorithms, and software engineering.
    • Experience with self-supervised learning, mixture of experts, or applications to dense vision problems.
    • A demonstrated publication record in top-tier vision or machine learning conferences and journals.
    • Submission of a cover letter and at least two reference letters.
