The Applied Sciences Group is seeking a Research Intern to join a team focused on advancing computer vision and deep learning to improve the Windows user experience. This role involves working with multimodal sensor data to better understand user interactions and environments, utilizing specialized hardware and data sets. Interns will be paired with mentors to conduct research, present findings, and contribute to the research community.
What you'll do#
- Put inquiry and theory into practice while collaborating with fellow interns and researchers.
- Analyze multimodal sensor data to interpret human and human-object interactions.
- Contribute to research and development strides in computer vision and artificial intelligence.
- Present research findings and participate in the community.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a master's program or Ph.D. in computer vision or a closely related field.
- Comprehensive background in deep learning, algorithms, and software engineering.
- Demonstrated publication record in top-tier vision or machine learning conferences and journals.
- Experience with self-supervised learning, mixture of experts, or applications to dense vision problems.
- Ability to provide a minimum of two reference letters, a cover letter, and relevant research samples.
