    About the role#

    As an intern in the Dry Etch Equipment Development Engineering group, you will gain hands-on experience in developing and optimizing plasma etch equipment. You will work on memory products and help solve technical problems to support the company roadmap. This role requires curiosity and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

    What you'll do#

    • Demonstrate personal ownership of safety, quality, and compliance in lab and fab environments.
    • Conduct experiments to understand the technical limitations of current equipment capability.
    • Develop in-process hardware and analytical techniques.
    • Solve engineering problems related to plasma etch hardware.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve equipment and process challenges.
    • Present and articulate your technical work clearly.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related science field.
    • Must be a current student and cannot graduate before September 2027.
    • An electromechanical or hardware-derived work history or education.
    • Understanding of semiconductor equipment.
    • Strong digital literacy with the ability to apply data analysis to support technical decisions.
