About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will be based on-site at the Laurens Proving Grounds in South Carolina, supporting marketing and digital initiatives for the facility.
What you'll do#
- Create a new visitor handbook.
- Update the safety and driver orientation video.
- Refresh the proving grounds introduction video.
- Conduct benchmarking and market analysis of other proving grounds to identify potential service gaps.
- Develop a marketing strategy for the proving grounds, including a plan for social media.
- Update marketing materials, such as the website, brochures, full-page ads, and social media posts, to align with the new strategy.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment at an accredited four-year college or university.
- A major in marketing, computer science, IT/IS, or engineering (computer, electrical, industrial, or mechanical).
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with an ability to learn new software systems.
- A willingness to work in an industrial plant environment.
- Ability to work well in teams to meet common goals.
- Professional communication skills for interacting with colleagues, suppliers, customers, and external partners.
- Authorization to work in the United States on an ongoing, indefinite basis (sponsorship is not available).
