About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based at our Piedmont facility near Greenville, South Carolina. You will work on-site in an industrial plant environment, contributing to projects that improve our manufacturing processes and digital solutions.
What you'll do#
- Use lean methodologies and DMAIC tools to find improvements in ergonomics, safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, justify, and implement your recommendations.
- Analyze material flows from the market to assembly lines to optimize labor, inventory levels, and space.
- Evaluate and improve existing digital solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university.
- A major in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A willingness to work in an industrial plant environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and interact professionally with colleagues and partners.
- Authorization to work in the United States on an ongoing, indefinite basis. We do not provide immigration sponsorship for this role.
