About the role#
The Miami HEAT is looking for a Broadcast Services Intern to join the team at Kaseya Center. This role provides an inside look at the technology and operations behind NBA games, concerts, and major arena events. You will work alongside engineers and technicians to support the systems that make live events happen.
What you'll do#
- Gain behind-the-scenes access to Miami HEAT games and major arena events.
- Work hands-on with broadcast, AV, networking, and IPTV technologies.
- Receive training on professional systems like Q-SYS and enterprise network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with experts in audio, video, lighting, staging, and production technology.
- Support the preparation and execution of live events.
What you'll need#
- Interest in sports, entertainment, broadcasting, or technology.
- Ability to take initiative and learn new systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfort working in a live-event environment.
- Desire to develop technical and operational skills in the sports and entertainment industry.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Media Studies, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
