About the role#
This paid internship provides hands-on experience with a national portfolio of telecommunications real estate assets, including ground towers and related infrastructure. You will work alongside professionals in asset management, leasing, and operations. This role is for students who want a practical understanding of how large-scale infrastructure portfolios are managed and optimized.
What you'll do#
- Support the analysis of telecommunications real estate assets, leases, and portfolio performance.
- Assist with lease tracking, abstraction, documentation, and data accuracy.
- Analyze operational, asset, or financial data to prepare summaries and dashboards.
- Document business processes, workflows, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and insights for cross-functional teams.
- Maintain records in internal systems and Excel-based tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Urban Planning, or Legal Studies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to commit to a 12-month internship duration.
Location & details#
- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (requires 8-10 hours per week in the office, Monday through Wednesday).
- Schedule: 20 hours per week.
- Pay Range: $16.10 to $25.60 per hour.
