About the role#
This is a paid summer internship focused on finance and government contracting. You will work on-site at our Albuquerque office to support our finance team with analysis and quality controls for government deliverables. The role is cross-functional, offering opportunities to build technical skills through on-the-job training. Hours are flexible, ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Support the finance team with analysis and quality control for government contract deliverables.
- Work on a variety of finance and contract-related tasks.
- Complete ad-hoc analysis assignments as needed.
- Collaborate with team members in group settings.
What you'll need#
- At least 2 years of undergraduate education in a business field, preferably finance or accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership through clubs, organizations, or previous employment.
- A self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable mindset.
