About the role#
Mercy is hiring a Pharmacy Student to join our team at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. This is a part-time, on-site position. You will work on a PRN basis, with typical shifts including one evening per week and at least one weekend per month.
What you'll do#
- Support the Pharmacist with medication preparation, distribution, and inventory control.
- Help improve pharmacy workflow.
- Act as a resource person for entry-level pharmacy technicians and for the use of dispensing cabinets.
- Assist with the training of pharmacy technicians.
- Conduct floor stock inspections.
- Perform additional duties to support patient-focused pharmacy services.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the first year of an accredited PharmD program.
- Current registration in good standing with the state Board of Pharmacy as either a Pharmacy Intern or a Pharmacy Technician.
- Completion of all requirements for a P1 student.
