About the role#
This 11-week internship provides a foundation in retail operations and store leadership. You will work on projects that impact the business and present your findings to senior executives. The program includes an executive speaker series, networking events, and professional development sessions. During the second half of the program, you will serve as an Intern Team Leader to gain direct experience in managing business results and team engagement.
What you'll do#
- Deliver solutions to real projects and present them to leadership.
- Plan, direct, and supervise team members in daily operations.
- Mentor and coach staff to improve service and hit sales goals.
- Implement strategies to drive store sales and meet customer needs.
- Maintain store appearance, product presentation, and company standards.
- Support your department in managing the P&L and controlling shrink.
- Promote a safe work environment for all team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, ideally in Business Administration or Operations Management.
- A strong interest in retail and a desire to pursue a career in store leadership.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Prior retail experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through work or extracurricular activities.
- Key skills including a drive for results, customer focus, effective communication, and decision-making ability.
