About the role#
This 11-week internship provides a foundation in retail knowledge and store leadership. You will work on projects that impact the business and interact with senior leaders. The program is designed as an entry point for an accelerated career path into store management. During the second half of the program, you will transition into an Intern Team Leader role to manage business results, team engagement, and the customer experience.
What you'll do#
- Complete projects and deliver final presentations to senior executives.
- Participate in an executive speaker series, professional development training, and networking events.
- Manage P&L, support sales goals, and maintain shrink.
- Model fast and friendly customer service.
- Mentor and coach team members, including new hires, to ensure service goals are met.
- Maintain department standards and product presentation.
- Communicate with customers and team members while promoting a safe work environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, ideally in Business Administration.
- A strong interest in a retail leadership career.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including some nights and weekends.
- Prior retail experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in work or extracurricular activities.
- Skills in decision-making, communication, and relationship building.
- A drive for results and a focus on customer needs.
