About the role#
The Configuration Center Intern supports the provisioning and configuration of IT devices like PCs, tablets, and printers. You will follow specific work instructions to ensure devices meet client requirements for deployment. This role involves handling the full lifecycle of equipment, from initial setup to end of lease processing and data destruction.
What you'll do#
- Provision, configure, and repair IT devices based on written instructions.
- Perform data destruction on devices following established procedures.
- Unbox, clean, test, and re-box equipment for shipping.
- Work with supervisors and leads to resolve technical issues during processing.
- Maintain an organized and safe workspace.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency with laptops, tablets, and desktop computers.
- Experience using hand tools and small machinery.
- Strong organization, time-management, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Experience in medical device assembly or similar fields is preferred.
- Skill in creating or improving technical documentation such as work instructions.

- This role is based in Erie, Pennsylvania.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- The position operates on a rolling term.
