About the role#
As a Procurement Operations Intern for the Winter 2027 term, you will support the coordination of procurement activities and inventory management. You will act as a bridge between various internal functions, including planners, analysts, and inventory management teams, to ensure a stable flow of products. This role requires a high level of organization and the ability to handle various operational tasks in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Support planning activities, including the analysis of replenishment recommendations and order updates.
- Liaise with supply chain stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and stable product flow.
- Maintain the integrity of order and inventory data through accurate data entry.
- Identify, escalate, and propose solutions for issues regarding planning parameters, open orders, damaged products, obsolescence, and expiration dates.
- Produce reports and analyze delivery data related to suppliers and customer service levels.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators and dashboards.
- Document procurement and inventory management processes.
- Communicate with suppliers to follow up on orders.
- Assist managers as needed and provide support during team vacancies.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program (3rd year or graduating) or a master's degree program in operations management, logistics, engineering, business, or a related field.
- Theoretical knowledge of logistics, procurement, operations management, and demand planning.
- Proven analytical problem-solving skills and experience.
- Data mining skills and excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access.
- Strong communication skills and full bilingualism in French and English.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, work under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A process-oriented, team-focused, and detail-oriented mindset.
