About the role#
The CSI Strategy Intern will support the development and execution of strategy across McKesson’s Commercial Strategy and Innovation (CSI) businesses, products, and innovation portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Strategy, this role involves translating market dynamics into strategic priorities and evaluating growth opportunities. You will work closely with CSI leaders and functional teams to address complex business questions and develop recommendations that inform investment and competitive positioning.
What you'll do#
- Structure ambiguous business problems, develop hypotheses, and assess strategic alternatives.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, including opportunity sizing, market assessments, and competitive research.
- Support core strategy processes such as strategic planning, OKRs, portfolio reviews, and leadership discussions.
- Synthesize complex information into executive-ready analyses and clear, concise presentations.
- Monitor progress against strategic priorities to identify risks and dependencies.
- Connect strategy to portfolio priorities and help define where the business plays and how it wins.
What you'll need#
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- An MBA or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, Economics, Analytics, or Strategy is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in strategy, corporate development, consulting, product strategy, or business analysis.
- Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to independently own workstreams and manage multiple priorities within a matrixed organization.
- A general understanding of healthcare stakeholders, market dynamics, and economic drivers.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
