About the role#
McKesson Canada Specialty Health is seeking a Business Analyst Intern to support digital transformation initiatives. You will work with product owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to design and improve digital solutions for patients, healthcare providers, and internal operations. This role offers exposure to agile product development, healthcare technology, and AI capabilities.
What you'll do#
- Support product managers and business analysts in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Map business processes, identify pain points, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in workshops, stakeholder interviews, and product discovery activities.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and project artifacts.
- Assist with testing activities, including coordination, test script writing during user acceptance testing, and validation of business requirements.
- Explore opportunities to improve workflows through automation, digital solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business, product, operations, and technology.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Health Sciences, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically.
- Interest in healthcare, digital transformation, product management, and innovation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize information and manage multiple priorities.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with process mapping, business analysis, Agile, AI tools, Salesforce, healthcare technology, or design thinking is an asset.
