Manager of Student Information Systems & Data Integration

About the role#

The Manager of Student Information Systems & Data Integration oversees student-centered technology systems across the network. Reporting to the Deputy Chief of Policy, Performance, and Advocacy, this role is a key member of the Performance Monitoring and Accountability Team (PMAT) and focuses on maintaining system integrity, data synchronization, and reporting to support the school community.

What you'll do#

• Manage the primary student information system and other school-based applications.
• Perform system updates and communicate changes to users.
• Develop and monitor information synchronization between applications.
• Create queries to extract data and generate customized reports.
• Manage system user accounts and security to ensure data confidentiality.
• Document system processes and train end users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for faculty, staff, students, and parents.
• Coordinate with stakeholders regarding system maintenance, upgrades, and implementation.

What you'll need#

• Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred. Relevant coursework in Computer Science or Data Science is highly preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience managing and supporting Student Information Systems or similar database management systems.
• Proficiency in database management and SQL.
• Strong skills in writing complex queries and generating customized reports.
• Experience managing projects related to system implementation or upgrades.
• Familiarity with data security standards, access control, and user management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and stakeholder engagement.

• Location: Washington, District of Columbia.
• Modality: On-site or Hybrid (3 days in-person, 2 days remote).
• Term: Fall 2026.
• Status: Full-time, paid position.
