About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience supporting the design and documentation of electronic systems for aerospace and defense. You will work alongside engineers to learn industry design tools, standards, and configuration control processes. This role involves working in both a professional office and a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with schematic updates and PCB layout using OrCAD.
- Maintain component libraries, including symbols and footprints.
- Update electrical drawings and documentation based on engineering redlines and changes.
- Generate ECAD outputs for manufacturing.
- Maintain design files and revision control in the document management system.
- Assist with engineering change documentation and design reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology program.
- Ability to read circuit schematics and manage technical data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

- Location: Parsippany, New Jersey (On-site).
- Term: Fall 2026 (September through December).
- Schedule: Full-time.
