About the role#
The AI Project Management Intern supports the coordination and delivery of artificial intelligence initiatives. You will work alongside project managers, data teams, engineers, and end users to keep projects organized and moving forward. This role focuses on learning how AI projects are planned, tested, and deployed in a corporate setting. You will gain experience in project management fundamentals while assisting with documentation and stakeholder communication.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project plans, timelines, milestones, and meeting materials.
- Capture meeting notes, decisions, action items, and follow-ups.
- Maintain task trackers, status reports, decision logs, and risk logs.
- Support user acceptance testing, prompt validation, and issue tracking.
- Help track project metrics, business outcomes, and lessons learned.
- Organize project files and documentation in shared workspaces.
- Assist with adoption planning, training materials, and user guides.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Interest in AI project management, business analysis, technology delivery, and data-driven solutions.
- Ability to manage details, track action items, and communicate clearly with technical and business audiences.
- Willingness to learn about data security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
- Ability to provide your own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen is required for employment.
