About the role#
DCI Marketing is seeking a motivated student intern to join the Data and Analytics team. This role functions as an individual contributor, focusing on both hands-on technical tasks and meeting quality requirements to help build an Analytics Center of Excellence. You will support the team in transforming data into actionable business insights.
What you'll do#
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into effective designs and development specifications.
- Streamline dataflow pipelines across various programs and products.
- Identify trends and patterns in data to increase the effectiveness of digital programs.
- Transform raw data into information, knowledge, and actionable business decisions.
- Support Snowflake services and warehouse operations.
- Manage data-related documentation and visual communications.
- Seek guidance from delivery and operations team members to support project goals.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Computer/Software Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in data-related technologies and architecture.
- Proficiency in writing complex, highly optimized SQL queries.
- Experience managing data pipelines.
- Experience with machine learning methods such as linear regression, correlation, and statistical modeling.
- Experience with Snowflake DB, including programming knowledge using Snowflake, SnowSight, and Snowpipes, is considered a plus.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Social Media Analytics is an advantage.
- Experience with prescriptive and predictive analytics is an advantage.
