About the role#
The Foundation Intern role is a hands-on opportunity for students interested in community impact, education, and corporate social responsibility. You will work with the Global Community Growth Manager to support the planning, coordination, and growth of Foundation programs and volunteer initiatives. This position provides experience in nonprofit operations, program management, event planning, and reporting.
What you'll do#
- Aid in the identification and coordination of community service opportunities for India employees.
- Assist the Foundation Global Manager and Board in managing and expanding philanthropic initiatives.
- Build simple dashboards or trackers for grading, attendance, and milestones.
- Keep calendars, assets, and project plans organized.
- Observe planning cycles, assist with expense tracking, and help reconcile budget vs. actuals.
- Collect feedback and survey results, compile metrics, and create reports.
- Assist with employee volunteer initiatives including event planning, promoting participation, and coordinating sign-ups.
- Shadow the Foundation Manager to learn Corporate Social Responsibility in practice.
What you'll need#
- Currently a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and a strong interest in Corporate Social Responsibility.
- Genuine enthusiasm for driving community impact through philanthropy and volunteer initiatives.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable teaching, mentoring, and leading individuals in a professional setting.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
