About the role#
The Practice Management team at Mariner supports the financial advising division by developing training content, conducting research, and facilitating advisor enablement. This internship provides a hands-on learning experience for students interested in financial planning. You will engage with subject matter experts and contribute to projects that help advisors serve clients more effectively.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preparing presentations, job aids, and training materials for advisor education programs.
- Attend meetings and trainings to learn about advisor tools, planning practices, and consulting strategies.
- Support team projects involving advisor coaching, mentoring programs, and internal resource development.
- Provide research on planning topics such as estate planning, tax, and Medicare.
- Assist in evaluating planning technology tools, including eMoney, Holistiplan, and Vanilla, to identify opportunities for improvement.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with an expected graduation date in May 2026.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through work or extracurricular activities.
- Academic background in Finance, Business Administration, or Marketing.
