About the role#
The Retail New Accounts team is looking for extra support during a busy period. This internship offers a chance to gain experience in operations while helping deliver a smooth onboarding process for customers and advisors. You will join a high-volume team and participate in the GRO early talent program.
What you'll do#
- Review new account applications and supporting documentation for accuracy.
- Assist with account opening activities while following established procedures.
- Monitor workflow queues to help meet service level commitments.
- Follow up on outstanding documentation with internal business partners.
- Research and resolve basic application discrepancies.
- Keep records accurate and update internal systems.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and process improvement projects.
- Help deliver a positive experience for advisors and customers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program, such as Business Administration or Operations Management.
- Ability to work in a high-energy, high-volume environment.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail when reviewing documents.
- Ability to follow set procedures and operational guidelines.
- Effective communication skills for following up on requirements.
