About the role#
The Facilities & Engineering Intern supports operations across the organization by assisting with engineering data administration, maintenance planning, and facility assessments. This position offers hands-on experience in managing site assets and workplace systems. You will work within the Real Estate, Engineering, and Facilities department to help improve operational performance through data collection and process documentation.
What you'll do#
- Maintain, update, and validate engineering, asset, and facilities-related data.
- Participate in facility inspections and site walkthroughs to document observations.
- Support the creation, tracking, and closure of maintenance work orders.
- Provide administrative support for the Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to collect operational requirements and support process documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree program in Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage and analyze data accurately with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
