    About the role#

    This Manufacturing Engineering Co-op position offers hands-on experience supporting the production of medical device capital equipment. You will work alongside our operations team to investigate production failures, manage non-conforming materials, and improve assembly efficiency. This is a full-time role based on-site in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist in the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes for medical device systems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process enhancements and quality improvements.
    • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts to address manufacturing issues.
    • Execute and support continuous improvement projects to optimize manufacturing performance and reduce waste.
    • Assist in the creation and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
    • Design, fabricate, and implement manufacturing assembly aids and test fixtures.
    • Contribute to the development and execution of process validation and verification activities.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a four-year degree program for manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, electrical, or biomedical engineering.
    • Status as an undergraduate student entering your third year of study.

    • Location: Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
    • Terms available: Winter 2027, Spring 2027, Summer 2027, or Fall 2027.
    • Work schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
    • Compensation: This is a paid position.
